Alix LEBEC is a finance executive and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience mobilizing and deploying capital at the intersection of global capital markets and systemic change.
As a founding executive at WaterEquity—alongside Gary White and Matt Damon—she co-built a world-class asset manager investing in solutions to the water crisis in emerging markets, mobilizing $260M in blended philanthropic and investment capital across Water.org and WaterEquity combined. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at The World Bank in Paris and Southeast Asia, the Clinton Global Initiative, and Water.org.
In 2020, she founded LEBEC—a strategic advisory and investment platform built to channel $5B in assets under management over the next decade toward solutions building a resilient planet. LEBEC is activating this vision through three integrated pillars: a) strategic advisory; b) investment management via LEBEC Capital Partners, which constructs and invests in diversified private market fund portfolios; and c) narrative change across media and entertainment.
A Top 100 Women to KNOW in America Awardee (J.P. Morgan and Visa) and Worthy100 Awardee (Worth Magazine and L'Oréal Group), Alix serves as a Limited Partner at Polymath Ventures, a global judge for Reckitt's social entrepreneur accelerator, and a member of 100 Women in Finance. She has been featured in Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Fast Company, and the Financial Times, among others.
Alix holds a Master's from the London School of Economics (with Merit) and a B.A. in International Business from the American University of Paris (with Honors), where she received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2025.
