Alix Lebec
FOUNDER & CEO
Alix Lebec brings over two decades of experience in entrepreneurship, innovative finance, and philanthropy. As a founding executive at WaterEquity—alongside Gary White, Matt Damon, and a global leadership team—she built a highly successful global asset manager investing in solutions to the water crisis across developing and emerging markets, focusing on women’s economic upward mobility. Her leadership at WaterEquity and Water.org mobilized $260M in philanthropic and investment capital.
In 2020, Alix founded LEBEC, an innovative finance and philanthropy company that co-creates blended capital strategies, funds, business models, value propositions, and partnerships for asset owners such as Reckitt and The Miami Foundation and entrepreneurs such as Acumen and Olivela.
Previously, she held leadership roles developing education, communications, and community development programs at The World Bank in Paris and Southeast Asia and the Clinton Global Initiative. A Worthy100 Awardee (Worth Magazine and L'Oréal Group), she serves as a Limited Partner at Polymath Ventures and global judge for Reckitt's social entrepreneur accelerator, and is a member of 100 Women in Finance. Alix has been featured in Forbes, Inc. Magazine, The Financial Times, and other major publications for her work leveraging capital in innovative ways to build a more resilient economy.
Alix holds a Master of Science with Merit from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business (summa cum laude) from the American University of Paris, where she is also received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2025.
