Alix Lebec brings 22+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, innovative finance, and philanthropy. As a founding executive at WaterEquity—alongside Gary White, Matt Damon, and a global leadership team—she built a highly successful global asset manager investing in water, women, and climate across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia. Previously, she held leadership roles at The World Bank in Paris and Southeast Asia, Clinton Global Initiative, and Water.org, where she mobilized $260 million in capital and built winning teams.
In 2020, she founded LEBEC to support visionary entrepreneurs, funders, and investors, and bring innovative finance to the mainstream. She is a Worthy100 Awardee (Worth Magazine and L’Oréal Group), Limited Partner at Polymath Ventures, global judge for Reckitt’s social entrepreneur accelerator (a Fortune 500 company), member of 100 Women in Finance, and iDE Global board member. She holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics with Merit and a B.A. in International Business from the American University of Paris with Honors.
