Guatemala: Gender-lens and Impact Investing Forum focused on advancing gender equality and promoting economic development in Latin America
In partnership with Pro Mujer and Alterna, Lebec moderated three sessions at the GLI Forum LATAM and FLII CA&C conferences held in Antigua, Guatemala in November. The GLI LATAM 2022 forum is the first event in Latin America focused on promoting investment with a gender lens as an effective driver to advance towards equality and promote economic development in the region.
Alix Lebec kicked off the week by leading a lively conversation about the opportunity and importance of investing in women, followed by a panel focused on finding solutions for the global water crisis. Later in the week, Alix moderated a closing plenary discussion on the future of venture capital and impact investing and why there are not more women leading these sectors. In between panels, Alix attended events sponsored by Skoll Foundation, Wakami Guatemala, Pro Mujer and Alterna.
