Jessica Gisondo is a strategic leader with over a decade of experience driving impact at the intersection of philanthropy, social enterprise, and global change. As Head of Clientele at Lebec, Jessica oversees client relationships and communications, ensuring seamless delivery of services to visionary founders, funders, and investors scaling solutions to global challenges.
With a proven track record in high-stakes environments, Jessica has cultivated expertise in strategic partnership development, stakeholder management, and cross-sector collaboration. At Open Society Foundations, she co-managed a $7 million global grantmaking portfolio, conducting extensive due diligence and mobilizing funding across diverse thematic and geographic priorities. Her experience at Bloomberg Philanthropies further honed her skills in organizational effectiveness analysis, grant execution, and internal and external communications for multi-million dollar portfolios and founder's projects.
Jessica's international experience includes a role at the United Nations, where she served as a policy advisor to the Rwandan diplomatic team during the country's UN Security Council term, drafting high-level communications and engaging key stakeholders on peacekeeping and security interests. Jessica's global perspective informs her current work, which includes advising international foundations on strategic grantmaking and organizational development. As a thought leader, Jessica has ghost-written and co-authored over 20 articles for global publications on topics such as catalytic philanthropy, gender equality, and climate change.
Jessica holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and History from the University of California, San Diego, graduating magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa distinction.
